Practicing in Rhode Island since 1977, Dr. Christian is a physician at Rhode Island Cardiology Center and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University. He is on the active staff at Rhode Island Hospital, The Miriam Hospital, and Roger Williams Medical Center with appointments in both medicine and cardiology. Dr. Christian is a former President of the Rhode Island Medical Society and was the founding President of the Rhode Island Chapter of the American College of Cardiology. He was honored with a 2007 teaching award from Brown University "in grateful recognition for his clinical teaching and devotion to medical education." Dr. Christian was elected to the Blue Cross Board of Directors in June 2006.
